Our Mission
At Arkansas Cardiology Exercise and Sports, our mission is to provide the highest-quality cardiac care to athletes, tactical athletes, and masters athletes using the latest technology and techniques. Treating cardiovascular disease today is about detecting heart ailments before they impact your life. Our exercise and sports specialists will help maximize your health potential and performance as an athlete, master athlete, friend, spouse, parent, or grandparent and evaluate athlete symptoms before they impact play.
Our Programs
Saving Arkansas Athletes (SAA)
Heart screening by our sports cardiologists, cardiac arrest preparedness and emergency action plan support for Arkansas schools and teams. 600 athletes screened in 2026; our 2027 pilot adds on-site ECGs and indicated echocardiography.
Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET)
A complete test of heart, lungs and fitness, with VO2max, thresholds and personalized training zones. Athletes can choose a $150 self-pay option to guide their training.
Advanced Cardiac Imaging
Echocardiography, cardiac MRI, cardiac PET/CT and coronary CTA, interpreted with an athlete's heart in mind, so normal training changes aren't mistaken for disease and real problems aren't missed.
Pre-Participation Physicals & Athlete Evaluations
Cardiac screening before the season, and expert evaluation for chest pain, fainting, palpitations or a family history of sudden cardiac death.
